Writing the SEO Page Forms
As I have mentioned before, there is a line of thinking that mobile apps have existed solely as substitute for the poor usability of mobile websites thus far. But I’ve seen great growth in mobile website usability, particularly for WordPress mobile sites, and there is no reason to expect this trend to stop. This aside, there are questions about the growth of mobile app capabilities in the short term. For example, mobile app-based search (from within Apple’s app store, for example) works nothing like, or doesn’t sync with, web-based search engines, leaving a lot of opportunity in this arena.
There are some changes in every update of WordPress, and there is a lot of buzz at the time of this writing as to what will and won’t be in WordPress 4.0. Keep your eyes open. There has also been some buzz on Ghost, the new blogging platform originated by a former WordPress staffer. Ghost’s interface looks inherited from WordPress, but its claim of differentiation is that it’s simply an easy-to-use, wide-open blogging platform, nothing more (while WordPress is increasingly a CMS, or content management system). It claims not to compete with the advancement of WordPress. Personally I wonder why Ghost prospects wouldn’t first choose Tumblr or WordPress, and I don’t see concern for usage loss for the WordPress market. There are some changes in every update of WordPress, and there is a lot of buzz at the time of this writing as to what will and won’t be in WordPress 4.0. Finally...

Just as with SEO, WordPress technological capabilities continue to be offered and continue to progress. On the one hand, these tools make it easier. But the more tools there are, the more detailed and divergent the audience desires. All this technological growth makes someone who best knows how to use it all very valuable. Instead of “programming us out of a job,” the technology means that the ability to manage it all becomes high in demand.
Content marketing is on the rise. WordPress is on the rise. It makes sense that these will continue to grow and that more targeted SEO channels will be built for consumer usage. Find your best contributions. So you may call it SEO, inbound content marketing, digital advertising, or web facelifting. Just do it with strategy, do it in WordPress, and do it with class (as classy as this book and its jokes have been).
This wouldn’t be a good book on digital marketing issues without inviting you to check out my additional digital resources via my own WordPress site.
